I love to add tallow to my skin care every time I get fresh out of the shower.. My recipe changes throughout the year depending on the weather, humidity, sun intensity and my mood. This is my latest tallow lotion that I have added to my post shower handful of goodness.
I especially like this tallow mix because it has many ingredients that are naturally good at helping the skin adapt to the increasing sun intensity during the warmer months. The Rose also happens to be my favorite all time oil to help me navigate my emotions and create an all around good energy for the day. It also smells incredible and carries a very elevated frequency which helps to entrain my cells to that higher vibration.
After the shower I usually add a swipe of Rose ointment, a few drops of castor oil, a few drops of Deep Spectra Phyto nutrition, 1-2 drops of blue tansy & either a swipe of Bloom lotion (spring, summer, fall) or Sandalwood lotion (winter) depending on the time of year all to my hand and blend them together with my base body lotion. This blend is then spread from head to toe for a really nice start to the day.
, Here is my
Sunshine Days Lotion::
1/3 c rendered tallow I grate mine and keep refrigerated ( Polyface is where I get my suet) you can watch a million YouTube tutorials on how to render it well.
1/3 c organic coconut oil
1/3 c shea butter
1-2 T calendula infused olive oil (get calendula flowers here & steep in olive oil for at least 4 weeks)
2 T bees wax pellets
(Essential oils)
11 lavender drops (Swiss army knife)
11 myrrh drops (Biblical)
7 geranium drops (Elevated Goodness)
3 rose drops ( My middle name ❤️)
HERE are my main ingredients
Warm first five base ingredients slowly in double boiler or enameled cast iron until barely melted together. Turn off heat and add essential oils when they are about body temperature. Pour in your preferred vessel & enjoy.
All ingredients are organic, biodynamic or home grown. Be sure you source yours accordingly.
Love & Tallow, C
ps…. I don’t like to whip air into my tallow due to oxidation. My homemade tallow is usually kept in glass containers.

Won’t you please just make some for me? 🙂 I will pay your fee & see if I like it.
Cheers, Drew
I have a few small containers. You are more than welcome to come get one. ❤️
this is a rally near feature, being able to respond. Can I find your generous offering at your office or your home?
