I was talking to a friend the other day and the topic of vision and eye health came up. Later that day I started thinking about all the ways I’ve learned about supporting healthy eyes. So I wrote a little list….

Now I know this is a very involved grouping of suggestions. My advice is this…. If you do nothing…. You get nothing….
If you start to implement some or all of these strategies you will be able to look yourself in the mirror and say “Thank you”
Here is what I have so far…. I may add more
•Sun gazing or outside time 30/30/30 this is the most simple practice. 30 minutes outside during sunrise, midday and sunset.
- Unplug wifi for sleep
- Cardinal vision eye exercises with vagal nerve activation 2-3x a day ideally paired with sun gazing (remember distance, convergence and rotation) I will put this video on my instagram page @barefootchiro
- msm 8 week protocol with follow up maintenance
- 2-3 packets of Ningxia a day minimum
- Make goji tea and eat lots of wolfberries (goji) Goji are not only super high in protein, they are also an incredible source of nutrients for eyes. These little berries have been used for thousands of years to support healthy bodies and especially eyes.
- Focus on hydration with electrolytes & high quality coherent water.
- sacred frankincense eye swipe in morning and before bed & cupping throughout the day
- Pineal 6th center meditation with intentional eye focus
- Yellow /orange blue light glasses after sunset
- Back Vitalizer to activate CSF cranial wash (we have them in the office call 757-422-2260) we ship
- Regular upper cervical adjustments and try to find a doc that does nasal specific (call the office)
- Dim phone screen into yellow/ red for daily use
- Drink tulsi tea otherwise know as holy basil. Holy basil is one of the easiest ways to make more of your fourth phase of water in your body robustly. Your eyes are mostly made of this forth phase of water.
- Castor oil on lash line before bed
- Take food based vitamin C with regularity
Ask me any questions… you can find me in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays and in the wild the rest of the week.
Call 757-422-2260 to schedule an in person appointment or a virtual health assessment appointment if you are not local.
Love & Light, C
