I just had a turmeric latte the other day at Cold Pressed & got totally inspired. Something about the warmth, that beautiful yellow color & the way it sat on my tongue with that wonderful umami flavor just called to me. When I was ordering he offered to have it in almond milk which I took him up on. You could use any mylk base. I was even thinking chai tea in the warming milk would be a nice addition.
- 1 1/2 c milk of choice
- 1 tsp turmeric spice
- 1/2 tsp local honey (great for allergies & immunity)
- 1/2-1 tsp ghee (super healthy fats great for brain activity & healthy bodies)
- 1 drop cinnamon bark vitality
- 2 drops nutmeg vitality (grab your oils here)
Whisk with small battery whisk to create great foam. Serve warm & enjoy
One of my favorite things to do this time of the year is to create healthy & delicious comfort foods. I think I’ll be making lots of variations of this one for years to come.
