As a peaceful health warrior I am always trying to guide others along the path of better and more vital living. I was fortunately raised in an environment that engrained knowledge of whole living from a very young age. When I was growing up however others thought that we were odd. Eating whole food and keeping our bodies in proper alignment, so that we did not have to go to the fear based-pain management side of quasi health care seemed strange to others. This upbringing has served me in my deep core knowledge of where true health comes from. Are you wondering where?
INSIDE
That is right ladies and gentlemen every expression of every cell, breath, movement, heart beat, eye blink,( I could go on for a long time.) all happens from the inside out.
What I witness in our society is that many, if not most people approach their bodies from the outside in.
To make themselves beautiful, they slather on the makeup instead of eating fabulous colorful food that would create beauty from the inside out.
To take away pain or organ dysfunction, they medicate themselves senseless instead of finding and correcting the cause of their problem. (Subluxations)
To lose weight, they either starve themselves or cut off part of their stomach, instead of eating less and exercising more.
To take away stress they again drug themselves senseless, which in turn never lets them adapt to their stressors. Adaptation is the key to longevity.
When you keep your spine in proper alignment the expression of perfect health and vitality is effortless. Your perfect electrical system (Nervous System) is in constant communication with every cell in your body, regulating everything from growing a child to blinking your eyes. If you have an interference in this electrical system do you think your body works BETTER?….. or WORSE?

I initially writing this because I wanted to share a big win on my love of colorful food. You see how I digress into my love of VITALITY THROUGH CLARITY. I will still share my colorful win.
For years I have been trying to convince my sweet Canadian better half how amazing beets are. Well he always said that they taste like ‘dirt’. I must LOVE dirt because I just can’t get enough beets. My sheer determination has paid off. The other night I made spiralized beet salad and he begrudgingly tried it….. and he liked it!!!!! And he ate more!!!! I WIN!!! My sweet victory is a bit silly to most but to share my love of beets just makes me happy!

Spirialized Beet Salad

2-3 Beautiful Beets- Spirialized
4-6 Dinosaur Kale julianed
1/2 tsp. Shallot finely minced
1/4 c. Parsley- Flat leaf, chopped (I add parsley to everything.)
Rice wine vinegar 2(ish) tsp.
Olive oil 3-4(ish) tsp.
Grainy mustard 1(ish) tsp.
Raw honey (just a bit)

Mix the condiments together then add the colorful veggies….. ENJOY!!!

Vibration= Tone= Color= Frequency= Life!!!

Remember That You Are Perfection!

As a doctor of Chiropractic and health educator, one of the most horrifying things that I encounter in my practice, is the amount of drugs that people are on. When a patient tells me that they are on 5-10 medications daily or weekly, I just want to cry. Often these people are unfazed by this. The reason that this affects me so strongly is that I KNOW without a doubt that they were placed on this perfect planet with all the capacity, that they will ever need, to heal and self regulate their own bodies. Somehow between birth and where they are right at that moment they have been brainwashed to think that they have no possible hope in the world of ever LIVING without pharmaceutical crap!

Gag me!!!

Please remember that the great wisdom that put you on this fine planet did it with the foresight of ‘ Self-Healing’. Get Adjusted and know that with clear perfect nerve messages your body is capable of ANYTHING!!!

Have You Brushed your Spine Today?

So we all know that we need to brush our teeth to keep them. But how many of you think about regular hygiene of your spine? And how long do you want to keep it?  In my practice I so often see people who have “taken care of” their external appearance to the extreme (i.e.~ They work out, do yoga, have implants, get Botox and butt fat shot into their face, have pretty clothes, drive nice cars, blah…. blah…. blah…) and have basically ignored the most important piece of being beautiful and whole!

Have you taken a moment to consider the health and vitality of your spine and the fantastic system that is housed in your spine (Nervous System)?

We all know that the brain controls the body… Right?

And we all know that the messages that control the body travel down the spine… Right?

So now that  we have clarity on these points how do you think your beautiful body works if there is a message that is either stopped or not clear? ~SUBLUXATION

SPINAL HYGIENE For Your Body!

  • LIVE WELL~To have proper hygiene of your spine it is very important that you first and foremost have proper alignment. Proper alignment allows for proper motion. Find a great Chiropractor and get your spine lined up!
  • MOVE WELL~Movement is the next key to proper spinal hygiene. Get outside and move your body… Sweat, Breathe, Smile, Wiggle.
  • EAT WELL~Nutrients are so important your beautiful body! Eat WHOLE, CLEAN~(no pesticides), REAL~(not processed),FOOD!!!
  • SLEEP WELL~Sleep is necessary for proper spinal hygiene. When you sleep all of the nutrients and moisture revitalize your spine and nervous system. Please get a great bed and sleep 6-10 hours a day.
  • THINK WELL~ What the mind conceives the body believes. What do you program your cells with? I spend a lot of time thinking nice thoughts to myself, you should try it!
  • LOVE WELL~ Express love  with every fiber of your being, this is paramount to the human experience!

These points will be covered in more detail but this is a good place to start. If you have questions…. Ask them! Autism & Chiropractic….

My very first patient was a young autistic boy named ‘Ethan’. His mother brought him in to me because she had heard that chiropractic could help her son. She had also heard that the method of adjusting that I use was gentle and there was no twisting and cracking. ( Lightforce Chiropractic was pioneered by my parents, and the gentle low-force adjustments are loved by patients of all ages.) On Ethan’s first visit his mother proceeded to tell me that with the stress of having an Autistic son, her family had fractured, and her older daughter was constantly acting out so that she may get a sliver of attention from her parents. She also explained that her son would often jump off of furniture to feel the ‘ air currents’ in a room.

When I adjusted him for the first time he fell asleep on the adjusting table for 30 minutes. When he came back for his second adjustment his mother seemed very happy and I asked her how he did after his adjustment. She procedded to tell me that he had watched a half hour show on the T.V. and this is something that he had never done! Previously his maximum attention span was about 10 seconds. We continued chiropractic adjustments 3 times a week for the next few months.

 

Four months later he main streamed into normal classes!!!

His mother and older sister were now also getting adjusted and the family was happier and more balanced than it had ever been!

  • Do I think that had he been adjusted from birth that his parents could have still been together? Maybe…
  • Do I think that his family is now better? Definitely….
  • Do you think that Chiropractic is about BACK PAIN? ……….
  • Ethan did not have back pain he had a SUBLUXATION!!!! This was hindering his ability to interact and react to his world!
